Hi! I’m Georgia, the face behind Luxe Candle & Beauty. I’m 24 years old, a proud mum to two beautiful little ones. I started this small business not just from a passion for candles and self-care, but out of a need to create something for myself. Life hasn’t been the easiest ride. One of my children lives with health challenges that can make everyday life a little harder, and I’ve personally experienced a life-changing injury that prevents me from working in a traditional job. Chronic pain, nerve damage, and the difficulty of sitting or standing for too long has pushed me to find a new path, and that’s how Luxe Candle & Beauty was born.

I’m a one-woman business when it comes to pouring, packing, and managing orders, but I do have help from my incredible partner when he can, and my biggest cheerleader, my mum. She not only made my website but also handcrafts the beautiful candle vessels we use. I truly couldn’t do this without her.

This business is more than just melts; it’s a piece of my journey. Every single order means the world to me, and I’m so incredibly grateful for every person who chooses to support a small business like mine x

From kitchen experiments to your home

What began as a creative outlet pouring wax melts at my dining table quickly grew into something special. I spent months testing fragrances, perfecting ratios, and listening to early customers who told me what they loved (and what needed tweaking). My brand has changed as has my product range with the introduction of Squeezy Scents.

There's something magical about the process—measuring out wax, blending premium fragrance oils, pouring each mould by hand, thinking up colour themes. It's slow, intentional work, and that's exactly how I like it.

Sustainability first: We use 100% soy wax, eco-friendly materials, and minimal packaging - I mean it just goes in the rubbish anyway huh. Every product is non-toxic and safe for your whānau and pets.

Local & handmade: Proudly made in Christchurch. Supporting local means supporting our community, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
